Finite Element Analysis of Near-net Forming for High-quality Precision Tube

  • The large-scale roller-type rotary for ging near-net forming technology for the Φ219 mm high-quality precision tube is described here in the essay,involving the basic principle and the key process parameters. On the basis of the research on the near-net forming by 16-roller small-scale rotary forging,the finite element simulation method is used,and the Φ219 mm roller-type rotary forging near-net forming is taken as an example,the parameters under three working conditions(i.e. the material yield strengths are 235 MPa, 355 MPa and 450 MPa)are calculated, including equivalent stress, radial deformation and radial plastic strains. Furthermore, the strengths of the core components under the maximum striking force is checked,and suggestions for the optimal design of the dies are put forward.
