Analysis of the Current Status and Key Standards of Hydrogen Energy Industry Standard Systems at Home and Abroad

Analyzed here in the paper are the ove rall layout of the domestic hydrogen energy industry standard system，the formulation status of existing domestic and foreign hydrogen-related standards，as well as various categories of the standards，and summarized are their advantages and deficiencies. A domestic standard system has been set up， covering such aspects as hydrogen production，storage，transportation，and application etc.，especially basic hydrogen standards，and hydrogen refueling station standards. However，there still exist certain gaps between China’s relevant standards and corresponding advanced foreign standards in the field of hydrogen storage and transportation. Moreover the domestic material evaluation methods for the materials used for the hydrogen pipeline system are not detailed enough， there are contradictions in material selection，and some standards lack acceptance criteria，which is not conducive to the development of domestic hydrogen energy industry. Accordingly it is suggested to improve the standards of the hydrogen industrial chain as soon as possible，especially the standards for the storage and transportation links，and to strengthen the coordination among hydrogen system-related standards，and formulate comprehensive hydrogen-related standards for various categories as far as possible.
