Abstract
The corrosion behavior of 10Ni5CrMoV steel was studied under 3.5%NaCl and artifical salt-water with immersion and cyclic immersion test by chemical and electrochemical corrosion test methods. The result of the study shows that:The free corrosion potential of 10NiCrMoV steel is more lower in artifical salt-water (-0.690V)than 3.5%NaCl solution(-0.661V),The corrosion behavior of 10NiCrMo steel can be effected mainly by oxygen diffusion control mechanism among laboratory simulate ocean circumstance corrosion test for three months. Because the character of the rust is different, the corrosion rate of 10NiCrMo steel under 3.5%NaCl and artifical salt-water with immersion and cyclic immersion test decreases in the final stage with time passing and then tends to be stable after 1500h . The rate of corrosion in artifical salt-water with immersion and cyclic immersion and in 3.5%NaCl solution with immersion and cyclic immersion are 0.338~0.459mm/a and 0.279~0.435mm/a and 1.200~1.141mm/a and 0.840~0.404mm/a respectively. The corrosion rate of 10NiCrMo steel is more lower in artifical salt-water with immersion and cyclic immersion test than 3.5%NaCl solution; The corrosion rate of 10NiCrMo steel is more lower in artifical salt-water and 3.5%NaCl solution with cyclic immersion test than with immersion test.
