Study on Inclusions and phase analysis of BOF Produced 20CrMnTi Gear Steel

    Abstract
  • This paper deals with the inclusions׳ kinds、compositions、quantities and forms of BOF produced 20CrMnTi gear steel. The results showed that the inclusions of the steel included oxides(main is Al2O3)、α-MnS、(Ti0.952Cr0.047)(C0.551N0.501)、Ti2CS and AlN etc.；If T.O & S can be controlled lower, the total quantity of inclusions could be reach lower level.
