    Abstract
  • Several new methods developed in recent 10 years for manufacturing high speed steel compound roll and their application are introduced. The status and development tendency of outer and core materials in compound roll and their interface are described. In the end the development of heat treatment technologies for high speed steel compound roll is also discussed.
