The influence of alloy composition on the yield strength of rebar steel based on data statistical analysis

  • To investigate the relationship between the composition and mechanical properties of rebar alloys, a systematic analysis was conducted using big data from rebar production. A certain factory achieved the performance requirements of rebar by adding V element. Without considering other microalloying elements such as Nb and Ti, the influence of C, Si, Mn, V, and N on the yield strength of rebar was analyzed. From the perspectives of single element, double element, and triple element, the results show that the elements that affect the yield strength of rebar are V>Si>Mn>N>C. As the content of these five elements increases, the yield strength of rebar also increases. When considering the effect of dual element composite on the yield strength of threaded steel, the combination of V and N has the best effect. Considering the influence of three elements on yield strength simultaneously, V+N+Mn has the best effect, while the combination without N has the worst effect.
