Effect of heat treatment process on the properties of Fe73Si13B10Cu1Nb3 soft magnetic powder

Abstract
Fe73Si13B10Cu1Nb3 alloy powder was prepared by water-gas atomization process, and the effects of heat treatment temperature and time on powder properties and soft magnetic properties were studied. The results show that the crystallization volume fraction of α-Fe and Fe-B phases increases gradually with the increase of heat treatment temperature and heat treatment time, and the grain size also increases gradually.The Fe73Si13B10Cu1Nb3 alloy powder after heat treatment at 580℃ for 60 min has excellent soft magnetic properties: Bs=139.67emu/g、Hc=6.54A/m.
