Application of ANSYS software in continuous casting

The continuous casting metallurgical process is very complex and accompanied by high temperature. It is difficult to observe by using the traditional research methods such as human eye method and physical experiment method, but the numerical simulation technology can make up for this deficiency.The finite element software ANSYS is widely used in continuous casting for its accuracy, safety and reliability. The research status of ANSYS in continuous casting was introduced, application of ANSYS in ladle, tundish, mould, secondary cooling zone and air cooling zone has been discussed in detail. Finally, in order to combine ANSYS with continuous casting better, the development trends of ANSYS in the continuous casting was also pointed out.
