Analysis and practice about billet hot charging and heating furnace burn-up

  • The empirical formula of billet hot charging and blast furnace gas (BFG) burn-up is established by the law of conservation of energy and corresponding mathematical methods in the research object of heating furnace of Shouqin Company. The research results are checked with field experiment. The results show that billet is important influential factors of heating furnace burn-up. When the hot charging of heating furnace is at the high ratio level, the reduction of BFG burn-up is more obvious with increasing hot charging temperature. The establishment of empirical formula and the analysis of the effects of billet hot charging supply the theory basis for furnace energy consumption analysis.
