Industrial production practice of sintering with addition of Jimblebar blend fines in Shaansteel

In order to study the best proportion of Jimblebar blend fines in sinter，Hanzhong Iron and Steel Co.，Ltd. of Shaanxi Steel Group had a long-term cooperation with BHP billiton. The Jimblebar blend fines produced in BHP billiton was used on the 2×265 m2 sintering machines for the industrial production. The plant production results showed that when adding 30% Jimblebar blend fines，the sinter composition and quality can meet the technical requirements of the company through applying the technology of the low fuel rate and deep bed sintering, adjusting the green bed moisture control standard and pressing sinter bed appropriately，provide better conditions for the rational system of ore distribution，effective organization of sintering process.
