Abstract
Compound grinding aids were prepared with ethylene glycol and triethanolamine as raw material, absolute ethyl alcohol as solvent. The compound grinding aids were minxed with bssf slag, desulfurized slag and hot braised slag respectively, and then grinded by planetary ball mill. The chemical composition and mineral composition of steel slag, the influence of different grinding aids on the particle size distribution of ultrafine steel slag powder, and the action mechanism of composite grinding aids on ultrafine steel slag powder were studied. The results indicated that when ethylene glycol, triethanolamine and absolute ethyl alcohol were used to prepare composite grinding aids according to the volume ratio of 2∶2∶2, and the ratio of steel slag to composite grinding aid was 450 g for 6 mL, the particle size distribution of ultrafine steel slag powder was the best, that is, d90 was 9.14-9.28 μm, d50 was 3.31-4.20 μm, d10 was 0.99-1.04 μm and d90-d10 was 8.11-8.24 μm. And the compound grinding aid had the best grinding effect on desulfurized slag.
