Effect of reheating temperature and continuous annealing temperature on product quality of IF steel
-
Abstract
Taking deep drawing steel DC06 as the research object, the microstructure, precipitates and mechanical properties of continuous annealed IF steel products were simulated and analyzed under different reheating temperatures (1 150-1 250 ℃) and different continuous annealing temperatures (760-840 ℃) in laboratory. The results showed that lowering the reheating temperature of continuous casting slab could coarsen the grains and precipitates, improve the strain hardening index and elongation after fracture, and reduce the strength of the final products. For the certain mechanical property requirement of the final product, a lower continuous annealing temperature could be matched to achieve cost reduction and efficiency increase.
