Skin pass rolling of high strength steel DP1180

  • High-strength steel DP1180,which had both high strength and some formability, is an important material for automobile structural parts.Because the tensile strength of high strength steel DP1180 is above 1 180 MPa, the skin pass rolling process is very difficult. In the rolling process, problems such as heavy rolling force, edge wave and unqualified elongation are prone to occur. By analyzing the problems occurred in the skin pass rolling process, the corresponding measures were put forward to solve the problems, and good practical results were obtained.
