Production Practice of HP295 Steel Plate for Welded Gas Cylinder

    Abstract
  • The product process of Jigang ASP line is introduced. The effect of chemical composition, microstructure, coiling temperature and cooling process on properties of HP295 are studied. The practice shows that the yield ratio is reduced to lower than 0.8 by using two-stage cooling process and controlling the coiling temperature. The mechanical properties of plate meet the need of GB6653-1994.
