Abstract:The horizontal roller friction flutter model was established according to the nonlinear stick-slip friction characteristic of rolling interface. Then the work roll "jump vibration" model of horizontal direction was also established with unbalanced force caused by spindle. It shows that by numerical simulation when external disturbance forces is small the system is a periodic motion, external disturbance force is large the system appear chaotic state. when there has clearance between the roll machine seat and the frame, the vibration wave top was cut, and the system dynamics became worse. When the clearance and the spindle imbalance force were eliminated, the system dynamic better. The field measurement also shows that the vibration became weakened when implementing corresponding measures.
