Abstract:Coke was one of important fuels.In order to study the influence of thermal properties of the coke in different ranges on the production and quality indicators of the blast furnace, the coke thermal properties were classified into different intervals after the statistics of the actual blast furnace production data. The data of different intervals were statistically analyzed through the SPSS software. The influence law, the appropriate CRI (coke reaction index) and the CSR (coke strength after reaction) were obtained by linear or non-linear fitting methods. Considering the strong negative correlation between the CRI and the CSR, optimum coke comprehensive thermal properties were obtained, so this method can be used to guide the production of the blast furnace and the coking process. In addition, it also provides a new method for the study of coke thermal properties.
