Abstract:The paper briefly introduced the deep-decarbonization principle of RH-KTB based on the practice of product IF-steel in Meishan steel,through ameliorating kinetic conditions to optimize RH-KTB treatment process.By Means of setting 15KPa vacuum degree as the best time to start KTB process,improving vacuum degree of RH and improving circular flow , we could control the RH end-point carbon content of IF steel from 18×10-6 to less than 15×10-6conditions and optimizing RH-KTB treatment process of ultra low carbon steel. The domestic advanced level of controlling carbon content of ultra low carbon steel was reached.
