Abstract The finishing process of four-slitting rolling of 12mm hot rolled ribbed steel bars was simulated to resolve the lines-difference of 1500-2000mm by tri-dimensional finite element simulation software Deform. The parameters of K6, K5, K4, K3 finishing passes were optimized after the study of the full degree impact on the lines-difference. The result shows that the difference between four lines can be controlled below 200mm in the 90m length.
