Abstract using the two modes of theory and FEM, the load bearing capacity of roll set of cold leveling machine is analyzed. The results of the two modes are closer. It proves that the FEM mode used is correct and accurate. The FEM analyze is done for the load bearing capacity of roll set of cold leveling machine under the condition of the practice roll shape of backup roll.
