Abstract By Fluent simulation of strip edge over coating (EOC) during hot dip galvanizing, the relationship between technological parameters related and blast pressure on strip was obtained. Based on the analysis of flow field on strip, technological countermeasures of EOC control were also obtained for better thickness distribution of zinc layer strip shape control and quality of product.
