A Mathematical Model for BellLess Top Charging |

Abstract A charging model of bellless top blast furnace was developed according to primary charging rules.Some main characteristics of the model are:① The material flow through bin is of funnel flow; ② The hypothetical conditions of burden surface are improved; ③ Multiplelinearization treatment is used to describe burden surface;④ The burden descent is divided into two parts for revising new burden surface. The model can be used to calculate burden surface and ratio of ore to coke.
