Abstract One kind of new dieless drawing method for making tapered pipe with square cross section has been introduced in this paper, which replaced the whole working procedure of tapered square pipe production that generally and internationally used，at the same time completes the heat treatment, enhances the product performance, solves the tapered square pipe difficulty with plasticity forming problem. This technique is reasonable novel, the equipment is simple, and the entire production line is coordinately with computer control. It is the international leading level innovation project and it has the very good practical value.
