The Industrial Trial of Dual Phase Steel in Continuous Casting and Continuous Rolling with Low Coiling Temperature |

Abstract Microalloyed Nb、Ti precipitation retards recrystallization and anstenite pancaking make transformation faster. Through continuous cooling and low temperature coiling, high strength dual phase steel has been gotten in thin slab continuous casting and rolling line. Industrial trials were carried out on FTSR hot mill in Benxi Iron and Steel Corp. The mechanical properties of tested steels were measured. When the finishing rolling temperature is 800~820℃ and fast cooling to the coiling temperature below 300℃,it could be gotten that the yield strength of tested steel more than 400MPa ,tensile strength more than 650MPa and YR below 0.70.The ductility of tested steels is good and the elongation more than 20%.
