| A Study on Iron-Coal Composite Pellet with MgO |

Abstract An investigation on iron-coal pellet with MgO was carried out in order to improve its compression strength. It was shown that iron-coal composite pellet’s strength increase first and then decrease with a assembling roasting temperature(1200℃-1300℃) in the condition 6% coal and 1.5% dolominite, and got its maximum at 1280℃,while the temperature is higher than that value, the compression strength will be decreased due to the inner pore, and lower than it, the strength was detoreated
