| Technology Progress of Energy-saving in Shougang |

Abstract Under the policy of energy-saving and emission reduction such as structure adjustment of steel industry and behindhand production capacity dropped, Shougang group newly built modern steel plant such as Shouqin, Qiangang and Jingtang company, and united and recombined with plant such as Shuigang and Changgang, comprehensive energy consumption dropped by year with production capacity and scale enlarged. By fulfilled measures such as energy-saving technology application, reducing total energy consumption by industry structure adjustment, improving converter gas recycled quantity, lowering blast furnace gas releasing ratio, increasing differential pressure and coke dry quenching power generation quantity, lowering water consumption and steel ratio coefficient, energy-saving technology progress in Shougang in recent years is illustrated. Energy-saving direction and countermeasure in future in Shougang are pointed out.
