Plate Transient Temperature Field Precise Calculation in the Finish Rolling Process of Hot Tandem Rolling |

Abstract Based on the different fashions of the cooling, the finish rolling area is divided into two parts, the rolling area and the no-rolling area, and with the finite difference method, the precise plate temperature field model is established. For analysis and calculation, the rolling area is mapped into the rectangle, and then the precise boundary conditions are built to calculate three dimensional temperature field of plate. In the no-rolling area, main factors are taken into account, such as the descaling, the water cooling and the air cooling and so on, to calculate two dimensional transient temperature of plate in the longitudinal direction. The results of the experiment and the simulation indicate that the model has higher computational accuracy, and accord with the actual engineering.
