| Experiment Study of Magnetic Field Distribution in the Intermediate Frequency Soft-Contact Electromagnetic Continuous Casting Mold for Round Billets |

Abstract In order to study the distribution of the magnetic field of the mold of intermediate frequency soft-contact electromagnetic continuous casting, measured the distribution of magnetic induction intensity of mold under different electrical parameters and different process parameters through the experimental method, the results showed that: the magnetic induction intensity of mold increased with the increasing of power and current intensity of the coils; under the same power, with the increasing of the frequency of power, the magnetic induction intensity of mold was reduced after the first increase, and under the same current intensity, with the increasing of the frequency of power, the magnetic induction intensity of mold was increased; in this experiment, when the frequency was 2500Hz, the largest magnetic induction intensity was obtained under the same power; with the fall of height of the free surface, the magnetic induction intensity was reduced after the first increase, and when the free surface was located in the center of height of the coils, magnetic induction intensity reached maximum.
