| Technological Packages for Slab Casters |

Abstract The main technological packages available for continuous slab casting,and some recent projects where they have been successfully applied are described.The packages include all the hardware,software and services required for the full exploitation of the embedded technology to enhance quality and productivity performance of both new and existing slab casting facilities.
