Abstract The technology and the relevant measures especially for control of composition,nonmetallic, inclusion content, microstructure, performance and surface quality of hot low carbon aluminium killed steel strip for cold rolled products by BOFLFCSP line at Handan Steel is introduced. It was proved that the composition hitting rate and surface quality of the strip was improved, the content of nonmetallic inclusions was reduced, the overall qualification rate was raised up to 93%, the performance of the product meets the demand of production of cold rolled products.
