| Influence of coke reactivity on dropping performance of furnace burden |

Abstract Experiments were carried out in the lab to simulate cohesive zone of blast furnace in a high temperature oven，respectively to discusse the effect on charge softening temperature range， melting temperature range， maximum pressure， droplet comprehensive index and other high temperature physical properties after coke with different reactivity is added. The results showed with coke reactivity enhanced softening temperature[（t10）]were decreased by 108 ℃ from 1 220 ℃ to 1 112 ℃. Renewed pressure temperature[（ts）]were decreased by 28 ℃ from 1 306 ℃ to 1 268 ℃， but the maximum pressure[（Δpmax）]were increased from 8.62 kPa to 11.05 kPa， which resulted in a worse burden permeability. The results also showed， with coke reactivity enhancing dropping integrated indicators([S]value) were increased from 680 kPa·℃ to 820 kPa·℃ and droplet performance got worse.
