Influence of cold-rolling reduction ratio and normalizing process on primary recrystallization texture of Hi-B steel |

Abstract The influences of different cold-rolling reduction ratios (63.8%,75.2%,87.1%) and normalizing (two-stage normalizing) process on primary recrystallization (820 ℃, 5 min) of Hi-B steel which took Cu2S and AlN as inhibitor manufactured by stimulating CSP process were studied by electron back-scattered diffractionNOVA400 Nano field emission scanning electron microscope (SEM) and electron back-scattered diffraction (EBSD) (EBSD). The analysis of texture was based on three aspects: grain-oriented, PDF cross section of[φ2=45]and density of orientation lines. The results show that the micro-structure of specimens which has been primary recrystallization annealed after normalizing is more even, {111}〈112〉 and Goss textures are more relatively. Textures transforms, and the conversion products are mainly {111}〈112〉 texture which benefits the formation of Goss texture. When the reduction ratio is 87.1%, the structure has favorable grain orientation and suitable orientation line distributed.
