Abstract The advantages, characteristics and development of ferrite rolling in domestic and foreign iron and steel enterprises were introduced. Besides, the successful development and application of ferrite rolling to Ti-IF steel in hot continuous rolling line were introduced. Through analysis of the process system and designing the composition system based on the equipment characteristics of conventional hot rolling line, the method and processing technology for producing sheet steel product by ferrite rolling was obtained. The lubrication conditions during the Ti-IF steel ferrite rolling was improved. After improving the lubrication conditions and analyzing the {111} texture intensity before and after improvement, finally the low temperature(1 100 ℃) rolling technology was realized and the purpose of improving the yield of rolling line and energy saving is achieved. In the view of product development and creating customers, it provided technical support for ferrite rolling with high quality.
