AbstractAccurate controlling of end point was of important premise to ensuring the production reasonable and guaranteeing steel quality in steel plant. A general analysis of end point controlling process was analyzed from the aspect of characteristic of subsidiary materials movement. With a particle swarm optimization PSO-based improved algorithm, an optimization control model for end point was established, and then an optimal controlling strategy was presented. The experimental results show the hit of the model with (C)0.03% is about 93.1% and with (T)12K is 94%, oxygen blowing time is shorted to 2.5 min, the subsidiary material savings of about 15%, the model achieved better optimization result.
