High-Precision Temperature Model for Plant Cooling Process

Abstract

High-precision temperature field model is the main factor to achieve high satisfaction control objectives for plate cooling process. As the main object of study, internal heat conduction, air-cooled and water-cooled heat transfer coefficient are investigated concretely and the mathematical models for plate cooling process were established. The regression work of heat transfer coefficient was done, using Crank-Nicolson finite difference method to solve the temperature field of plate. Embed this model into controlled cooling system in some plant factory, and cooling experiment are carried out on different steel grade and different thickness plate, the data tested indicate that the deviation between ℃ and ℃ of actual stop cooling temperature and objective stop cooling temperature is above 90%,well achieved cooling process temperature control .
