Abstract

To find the factors on the adhesion of zinc coating, the zinc coating and inhibition layer under deformation was investigated by comparing and analyzing three different dual phase steels. The results show that the smaller and more compact of Fe-Al particles, the stronger of the adhesion of zinc coating; The less continuation of Fe-Al particles, the weaker of the adhesion. Cracks are easily emerged under deformation with ζ-FeZn13 particles in zinc coating. ζ-FeZn13 particles reduce and deteriorate the adhesion of coating.
