Abstract:In this paper, one-dimensional mathematical model of solidification and heat transfer in slab has been developed. Dynamic secondary cooling water distribution was carried out with residence time model. In the calculation of secondary cooling water calculation model,campair with water flow in static, dynamic secondary cooling water distribution was carried out to reduce the fluctuation of water flow when the casting speed changed so that the temperature fluctuation of slab surface is not so strong. The temperature was measured continuously, the result manifested:the temperature tolerance between calculated and actual is about 2%.
