Abstract:For the process parameter optimization problem of continuous casting production, an assistant optimization tool is developed based on the cooling solidification mathematical model. By using empirical production parameters as the basis and constraints for the optimization computation, not only the accuracy of calculation but also the application effect is improved. The tool has been applied to optimize process parameters of casting machines at Baosteel, and the results showed that short-term optimization process, low experiment cost and low on-line risks could be achieved.
