Abstract:Aim at existing problems of multi-strand tundish in metallurgical process, by water model experiment orthogonal optimization tests of flow control device on factors of influcing flow field in the tundish had been done. Considering the various influencing factors comprehensively, the rational flow control device in the tundish was a combination scheme with a ”V” retaining wall with deflector holes and two dams.
