Abstract:Abstract:Mathematical simulation was carried out to investigate application of two sub-merged nozzles of CC process in twin-roll strip casting flow distribution system by FLUENT software. The ratio of outlet area to inlet area of nozzle (S),the angle between center line of outlet and horizontal direction (α) and the level distance between two nozzles (L) on metal stream distribution uniformity and level fluctuation in distributor were analyzed .The results show that the effect of α is significant while the effect of S and L are not. The optimal structural parameters of nozzle were found when α value was 0°,L value was 800 mm and S value is 1.1.
