Abstract:During the process of caster production, a lot of quality flaws occurred on the billet of martensitic anti-heat stainless steel-1Cr6Si2Mo, such as center unsoundness, center void, segregation, rich columnar crystal and surface depression and so on. In view of these quality flaws, some measures were taken such as adjusting the overheat of liquid steel, choosing proper cooling speed, reducing the speed and upgrading M-EMS currency, so that the billet surface flaws can be increased efficiently and center porosity, void and segregation can be decreased.
