Abstract��In this work, a detailed investigation and analysis on the slab dynamic secondary cold water distribution principle is carried out through the establishment of coordinate system of slab solidification and heat transfer model of differential equations, in order to establish the basic equations of two-dimensional unsteady heat transfer mathematical model of slab. Based on the actual casting conditions, according to the target surface temperature control principle by dynamic setting of the two district cooling water, on-line control of the surface temperature of billet is realized, billet temperature is optimized.
