Abstract:Through establishing the water model of 1:4, the influence factors of RH refining of molten steel mixing time were analyzed in different conditions. The influence of the argon gas flow, pressure of the vacuum chamber, a blowing hole plugging degree, impregnated tube immersion depth and internal diameter on the mixing time of molten steel was obvious. The results showed that circulation argon blowing quantity being 1 500-2 000 L/min, vacuum chamber pressure light processing being 67×10-4-266×10-4 MPa treatment being 2.66×10-4 MPa, reducing the number of blowing holes blocked, impregnated tube immersion depth being 560 mm, and the internal diameter of impregnated tube being 750 mm,could effectively reduce the mixing time of molten steel in RH refining ladle.
