Abstract:The formation mechanism of the internal crack in low carbon and medium manganese steel was obtained by Austenite Continuous Cooling Transformation Test, cooling tests of ingots and slabs, and the research of inclusions. In the condition of air cooling, because martensite transformation stress?had not been effectively?released, the stress concentration was near Al2O3 inclusions, and then the crack would form and propagate along the inclusions.
