Abstract:Structural characteristics of the three hinge point segment is introduced, and systematic analysis on the causes of the roll gap dviation of the slab casting machine segment measured at cold-state is conducted. The improvement measures in design are put forward according to the segment structure principle, and the actual roll gap deviation can be controlled in the range of 0.1-0.3 mm after optimization, which can meet the requirements of process control standards. The present article has a certain significance for the design and reform of segment.
