Abstract:Introduced the development practices of high-carbon steel during continuous casting in Qian’an steel company,the key points of production process technology were also introduced combined with equipment features. The casting speed was 0.9-1.1 m/min. The low superheat,appropriate performance mold powder and secondary cooling optimizing were applied in this paper,so the slab surface defects and corner cracks were significantly improved. The better inner quality slabs were obtained through using a larger dynamic soft reduction and the reasonable secondary cooling.
