Abstract:After investigation on the data file generated by the mould monitoring system(MMS) andwith the consideration of requirement from production site,a playback and analyzing program has been developed based on reading and processing data from MMS, which facilitates the investigation of historical dataand helps the analysis of abnormal slow-down procedure. Furthermore, it makes it possible to comprehensively diagnose the cooling behavior of the strand shell in the mould andevaluate casting powder etc., and finally it gives technicians a new monitoring and analyzing tool for casting process control.
