Abstract:The paper focused on slab mold clamping device, especially the structure and working principle of the clamping device and the device works status under normal operating conditions are described and analyzed. In particular, the force analysis of the wide water box as far as possible, the final can be seen in the case of the overall structure of the mold unchanged, as the increase of the slab size, the clamping force is greater. An example of the clamping device for 230 mm×2 000 mm slab caster are designed and calculated under normal operating conditions, the specifications of clamping force of the clamping device and disc spring combination form. For further determine the design parameters and design principle of hydraulic cylinder.
