Abstract:Based on production of high P IF steel with high P content in a slab caster production practice of Handan iron and Steel, the influence factors of the high P IF steel mold level fluctuation were systematically analyzed. By improving the quality of molten steel, optimizing the superheat, reasonable adjustment of argon blowing, improving second cooling and strengthening equipment management. The the mold level fluctuation of more than ±5 mm rate reduced from 12.3% down to 5.8%, and the slab inclusions defect rate reduced from 1.26% down to 0.21%, Which provides a guarantee for continuous casting of High P IF steel.
