Abstract：From points of the control of surface cracks and inclusions in continuous casting billet， theory and production practice of continuous casting process were combined to analyze the reasons of quality defects. By putting forward countermeasures， the actual problems in the continuous casting production were effectively solved. And the quality of the production were improved and stabilized.
