Abstract:As TC4 titanium alloy is hard to be deformed, and sensitive to temperature, so the process and deformation of this alloy needs strict conditions, there are almost no manufacturers domestic and foreign have researched and produced TC4 titanium alloy coil. In this paper, deformation stress of TC4 titanium alloy coil was calculated by the thermal simulation test. The thickness of oxide layer, chemical composition, microstructure and mechanical properties of the TC4 titanium alloy coil , were analyzed after hot rolling. The result indicated that TC4 coil with high weight and width can be produced on the hot rolling mill, the thickness of gas absorbing layer was about 50μm. After annealing at 860℃, chemical composition and mechanical properties achieve the requirements of GB/T 3621.
